COURSE DESCRIPTION
This is a communication course. But it is not meant to limit you to verbal communication. It is a holistic communication course designed to help you understand systems and processes of communication so that you can master the art.
Our body is a complex system of multi-varied hosts in constant communication with each other. Maintaining a balanced and healthy life requires a lot of factors to be brought together. Health is a system in a continuum. The essence of life is growth within this continuum. The task of every viable system is to maintain equilibrium within the vortex of this continuum. The process of maintaining balance within this continuum is the function of any healthcare provider. Balance within any healthy system begins from the mind down to the body. By the end of this course, you should have the skills you need to think, heal and communicate effectively within and outside the healthcare setting.

Instructor: Nonye Tochi Aghanya MSc, RN, FNP-C obtained a Master of Science degree as a family nurse practitioner from Pace University, New York, and has worked in various outpatients/inpatient/homecare health settings. A registered nurse for 10 years, she later became a family nurse practitioner, a position she has held for many years.
